In an effort to give you some more material while you wait for their next album, production duo Blue Sky Black Death have released the third instalment in their Euphoric Tape series. Fifteen hip hop instrumentals make up the tape and features unreleased tracks alongside beats that previously featured vocals from Deniro Farrar, Nacho Picasso or Skull And Bones. Enjoy.

EP: Blue Sky Black Death & Deniro Farrar – Cliff of Death

Standard

Blue Sky Black Death & Deniro Farrar – Cliff of Death

Deniro Farrar & production duo Blue Sky Black Death together for an EP. A match made in heaven if you ask me. Also includes a feature from frequent Blue Sky Black Death collaborator, Nacho Picasso. Enjoy.

Deniro Farrar teamed up with producers Blue Sky Black Death for one of the most beautiful collaborations of the year. an EP entitled Cliff Of Death–
The only features are singers Child Actor and Nacho Picasso, and It includes a track titled “Just In Case The World Ends…” but even if it didn’t, this EP is still the hip-hop equivalent of standing at the precipice of certain death and feeling mostly pretty alright about it. This was released today for two reasons, one being tomorrow’s possible events, and also all of the “End of the Year” lists are already out. This will probably slip under the radar, but it will be a well worth find for those that discover this project. Join the inner circle. This is Cult Rap.

Weekly Match #21 – Blue Sky Black Death – Noir

Standard

Weekly Match is a weekly series where I will be highlighting a song, album, artist or whatever that doesn’t really fit in with the usual posting on the MatchMusik. This will let me sift through my music collection each week & pull something out that may be a little older, but still something I feel like sharing. Enjoy.

I have exams coming up pretty soon so I’ve been listening to even more chilled out music than usual, in a desperate effort to distract myself from the fact that I am doing work, or should be. One album that seems to keep finding itself on repeat is the beautiful album Noir, from the production duo Blue Sky Black Death. Since this release last year Kingston & Young God have released 3 collaborative projects with rapper, Nacho Picasso. They also have more than 10 releases prior to Noir, but I must admit, I have listened to none. I honestly have no idea why that is though, since this album is spectacular, with Gold In, Gold Out being one of my favourite tracks. Anyway, stream Noir below, check out their work with Nacho Picasso & have a listen to a few more of their own releases on bandcamp (including a screwed up version of Noir).
