Weekly Match is a weekly series highlighting a song, album, artist etc that doesn’t necessarily fit in with the usual posting on the MatchMusik. This lets me sift through my music collection each week & pull something out that may be a little older, or that slipped through the cracks, and bring it back for all of you to enjoy.
A Seated Craft is the music endeavour of the Australian born, Berlin based Alexia Peniguel. Her only album to date is The Savage and The Small, one that I admittedly have not heard in quite some time, but upon revisiting it I immediately remembered why I loved it so much. Eclectic instrumentation, and Alexia‘s vocals on an album that somehow manages to be simultaneously melancholic and able to draw out some joy, makes this a release to get your hands on. To top that off, Alexia‘s second album, a result of crowdfunding, is complete and being pressed. So look out for that.
