The first full project I heard from Michael Seuss was Neverland; a 20 track mixtape with production centred around the games, tv shows and movies of the 90s, that was released as an ode to his and our childhood. While Seuss has a number of releases that just seem to improve from project to project, Neverland is what got me hooked, so telling you I was excited following the announcement of a Neverland 2 would be an understatement. Long time collaborator Miles Farewell (formally Toy Trains) provides the Mother (aka EarthBound) based production for Goodnight, the first we’ve heard of the two CDs worth of music to come out as Neverland 2. This is also going to be Seuss‘ final mixtape for quite some time, with his debut album, The Proctor’s Penmanship coming out soon and then focus being directed on further albums. Look out for this one. Enjoy.
