Hiatus‘ latest LP, Parklands is composed of 11 lovely songs from the London based producer. With 6 vocal features from Shura and a placement from Kirtaniyas on the title track. The delicately soft vocal work complements the production style perfectly, bringing the whole project into a relaxing cinematic electronic feel that I just can’t get enough of. Enjoy.

Azure Maya is his name and experimental electronica is his game, well kind of. His sound encapsulates areas of jazz, psychedelic, ambient, dreamwave and everywhere in between. The New York Diaries was released in January of this year but only really just caught my attention. Make sure you don’t pass it by. Enjoy.
Jesse Futerman‘s 3rd EP for Jus Like Music is not something you want to miss. In what I feel is his best work as of yet, he creates his unique jazz-infused instrumental soulful hip hop production. This is way more than worth you you time and definitely worth more than the $0 that he’s giving it away for. Enjoy.
Jesse Futerman returns once more to complete his trilogy of free digital EPs for Jus Like Music Records with his Exquisite Basement EP. Following on from Super Basement and Fuse The Witches, the new EP, Exquisite Basement exudes a grown sound from Jesse. Commencing with the house-like ‘Trouble Man’ – a glimpse into his more uptempo material – the EP showcases that typical Futerman dusty, jazz breaks soulful sound, but with more body and soul than ever before.
So Alice Ward made a beautiful acoustic cover of Jessie Ware‘s Running, Bear Blu! then decided to remix her work, the resulting concoction, with mixes of Kaye West, Common and J Dilla is quite something. Enjoy.
So my main girl Alice did this beautiful beautiful cover of Running by Jessie Ware.
And I decided to sample the cover to make this outrageous “Cover // Remix.” Bit of a mouthful, but have a listen. Its full of summer vibes, with some Kanye West + Common scratches along with a cheeky J Dilla drum loop. Enjoy.
I, like I imagine everyone else has been doing, have had Daft Punk’s Get Lucky essentially on repeat since it came out so I’ve developed a bit of a taste for soul/funk infused french house. That’s where Neptune Safari comes in, the second original track from this mysterious French project is is the intensely catchy Nebula. Seriously give this a listen/dance/whatever. Enjoy.
